Film Journey

How the films came about, and what I did on each.

I started taking films more seriously in my early undergraduate days. I took more of a serious attempt to study films and examine its techniques. However, I was not sure then of making a film yet, as I was preoccupied with music. I joined “Noize Factory”, a Khulna University based music club. I met a group of creative and wonderful persons in this organization and was inspired to join “35mm”, a KU-based movie club.

In 2012, with a group of energetic people we formed a movie club, “Kowboys’ Film”, so that we can focus more on making films. Kowboys’ Film allowed me to complete a few short films even we were on a very tight budget.

Indeed, it was a decisive moment for me when I took the decision to make films and live with films.
